Whistler has grown rapidly over the past ten years and the demand for mountain homes has increased causing large price increases on available land. Lots that might have been $150 000 only 7 or 8 years ago are now a million or more.

As a consequence of the high land prices, large, beautifully custom crafted homes have been built to suit the price of the land.

Many of the homes are more like works of art than what we typically think of a home being, which provides great opportunities for the architectural photographer.
